Pandoraverse Month of Love Contest: Long Night

For Lopoddity 's month of love contest! 

 Apple Truffle delicately arranged her slightly burnt blueberry muffins on a table in Prima Donna's makeup room. She wanted to leave the little superstar a pleasant surprise after what she was sure was a stressful day, and as a reminder that Donnie had ponies who cared about her at all times. Truffles smiled at her muffins because they were only a little less burnt this time, and she was sure the consistency was a bit more on par with styrofoam than concrete. At least they were more edible this time! And Donnie would love love the little card she had included! Or Apple Truffle hoped she would. Maybe she could have added more sparkles. 
 The pale yellow filly turned to leave. She misjudged herself slightly, tripped over her own hooves, and plopped to the ground. Truffles shook her head, blustering, and when her eyes focused again she was face-to-face with Prima Donna herself. Her droopy eyes laid sleepily on Truffles.

 "D-Donnie! I-I'm sorry! I know you weren't expecting me, but I wanted to bring you a present, and I-" 

 Truffles paused when she realized that Donnie was smiling softly at her, "'Aww Truffy, you're a rose among thorns...thank you for thinking about me..." Without another word, Prima stripped her trademark bolero jacket, and shook the braids and hairsprayed curls out of her hair, letting her beautifully wavy hair fall down her shoulders. Truffles simply stared as the filly swayed over to her side and laid next to her. After blinking drowzily, she yawned and rested her head on Truffles' shoulder. The befuddled filly flustered but dared not to move. After a few moments of rapid heartbeats, wide eyes and bewilderment, Truffles looked down at the sleeping filly. She relaxed as she regarded her. 
  
 With so much fame under her belt, it was so easy to forget that Prima Donna was still only a filly. One that's constantly on the move, singing, getting swarmed by fans and producers, signing record labels...Truffles admired her natural beauty and talent since always, but she rarely saw her drop her sassy persona like this. It was...really nice to see her like this. Of course it bothered Apple Truffle that Prima Donna was so exhausted she almost instantly fell asleep on her friend, but it also comforted her that the popstar trusted her enough to do that. Truffles smiled lovingly at her friend, and gently nuzzled her while she slept.  

 I'm sure there would be many an early night in Prima Donna's career, and Truffles would be her guardian angel the whole way, offering a comforting place to lay at a moment's notice. Whether this is a platonic moment between two friends or something a bit more, I think it could be a bit of both.
